The study of water absorption soft rock is great significance to the prevention engineering disasters. However, research on prediction method considering influence composition, porosity, and solute insufficient. Aiming solve above problem, tests are carried out by synthesizing rocks solutions. Then, model established through quantitative analysis data compared with characteristics natural verify reliability model. results show that changes in content velocity time obey second-order exponential attenuation function linear (double logarithmic coordinates axis), respectively. types cations anions type clay minerals have greatest process absorption. In addition, could better predict rock. problem insufficient porosity solute.
